Josie, Jordan, and I left from Vancouver, Washington around 11am. Our first stop was Rowena Crest.
Rowena Crest features a highly visited curved road and a view of the Columbia River that seems to stretch on for miles.
After spending some time at the crest, we grabbed some lunch and were on our way to White River Falls in Northern Central Oregon. During the drive to the falls, we noticed the geography of the land slowly changing. There were no more evergreen trees and endless shrubbery but instead fields of grass and rolling hills.
When we arrived at the waterfall we were in awe of its size. It has got to be one of the largest waterfalls that I have ever been to (and I’ve been to a lot of waterfalls).
After spending some time here we headed back to the car and broke out a pitcher of cold brew coffee that I had prepared the night before. A quick cup of coffee gave us the little boost we needed to stay awake during the long drive home. -Zander Isenhower
