For years, people have incorporated plants into their homes as a way to represent new seasons, spruce up their living space, or simply fill an empty corner. One similar trend among plants seems to be that their purpose, in homes, is merely decorative. Beth Esponnette aims to change this trend among plants by making them things we can use rather than something we just look at and take care of. The clocks, for example, are blended grown Cladonia Evansii lichen with silicone in various-sized molds. We must admit that we love plants as office additions, however the idea of incorporating them into everyday use excites us! We want a flower lamp ASAP!
