Textile Desinger, Cara Piazza found a way to re-purpose floral waste. Cara works with florists, restaurant and organic providers to collect their floral waste so she can use their natural dyes. The main issue with most dyes on the market is their effect on the planet and people and they cause pollution. Cara says, “In a city where everything is so loud and busy all the time, sometimes it’s just nice to feel something that was dyed with nature and was made with love,” when she discusses the emotional aspect of using florals for her natural dyes.
