Normally when we think of architecture, we imagine large buildings with edgy geometric designs. The exterior of a building tends to initially catch the eye because it’s the first thing a person sees. In Japan, architecture studio Hitotomori managed to captivate us from the inside, by designing a home using beautiful exposed, unfinished wood. Using plywood to add the finishing touches of furniture in the house, Hitotomori creates a warm inside environment that appeals to the cozy aesthetic of a home and the sleek look of a cutting edge design.
