An A-frame timber pavilion of Soomaa National Park

Posted by Analog Watch Co. on

This uniquely crafted timber pavilion may be aesthetically stunning - however, it is also serving an impactful and important purpose. Estonian interior architecture students designed this floating structure to provide visitors to the Soomaa National Park wetlands a shelter, sauna and campfire during flooding. Naming the pavilion, "Veetee" the students have created a useful waterway for visitors to travel safely and securely through the forest known for its flooding. It's simple yet beautiful wooden design is outweighed by its purpose, providing a wonderful piece of architecture we all can enjoy.
